🔐Private Solver Quests

Private quests are invitation-only and are not visible on GitHub. They will appear in your Quira’s Solve tab only if you have been invited.

The workflow for Private Quests is very similar to the workflow of Public Quests, but there are some subtle differences.

Respond to our invitation to take part 📧

Private quests are invite-only. Typically you'll receive an email that looks like this:

The email contains:

1. The URL of the Quest on Quira,

2. The URL of the underlying issue on GitHub,

3. Additional information

Navigate to these URLs to understand more about the issue, the community, and the rewards involved.

Embark to the quest

If you want to take on the challenge, go to the Quest's page (linked in the email) and click on theEmbark button. You can now start working on your PR.

You may see a deadline timer indicating the remaining time you have to Embark on the Quest. If you fail to embark by the deadline, the Issue will automatically be assigned to another Solver.

Loot the Quest with a PR

Work on your Pull-Request as normal and raise it on GitHub. To link your PR to the quest, navigate to the Quests page on Quira and click on "Loot this Quest with a PR". Then, follow the instructions.

Work on your revisions and claim your reward ✨

The maintainers will issue a reward if your PR is successfully merged. When a reward has been issued you will see it in your Quira wallet.

To cash out, click on it and follow the instructions. More information in Claiming rewards
