βοΈQuests
Quira Quests allow you to earn rewards for your open source contributions πΈ
βοΈ What are Quests?
Quests (https://quira.sh/quests) are paid coding challenges that take the form of contribution opportunities orchestrated by commercial open-source software (OSS) organisations.
Specifically, Quests help companies incentivise the Quira community to use their software in new and exciting ways, or allow them to put a price tag on open Issues in their GitHub repositories for the community to help solve.
In Quira, we offer two types of Quests - Creators & Solvers.
A Creator Quest is a special type of coding challenge that rewards software developers for their creativity and ideas. In Creator Quests we (Quira) will prompt the community with a topic or a challenge (often on behalf of a third party sponsor).
Your mission (should you choose to accept it!) is to create a new repository that builds against that prompt and submit it to Quira to gather community feedback in the form of votes.
Creator Quests reward creativity and insight, and whether you can create something fresh and exciting that the community will love.

π Solver Quests
A Solver Quest is a special type of coding challenge that rewards software developers for resolving open Issues in OSS organisations' GitHub repositories. Solver Quests are accessed by invitation. The Issues you will typically be invited to help solve will be matched against your abilities based on your prior contributions.
There are two main sub-types of Solver Quest - public
(available to multiple developers to attempt to solve) and private
(available to you to solve exclusively).
To earn a reward, you must submit a Pull Request (PR) to the assigned Issue(s) and respond to feedback from maintainers to get your PR merged.
This type of Quest rewards how quickly you can fix an issue in an open-source codebase that you may not have previously contributed to.
